Forgive... forbear

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary a couple of weeks back. It is an occasion to celebrate simply because we made it through 10 of the most challenging years in our lives... together... covenant, lives and sanity still fully intact.

It's not all a bed of roses. We fought... got mad... and at times got even. But most of the times, we laughed... we cried... we bashed through lives' thickets and thorns... and had fun together. We shared ideas, problems, food and silly jokes which we are quite sure no one else would appreciate. Stood by each other no matter how frustrated we are and sometimes simply trusting in the other without knowing what's going on.

10 years... a decade has flown past since we made our vows and signed our lives away on the dotted line... 10 years and 3 kids later, we've known each other so well that we could complete each others' sentences, and yet still be as clueless about what's in each other's minds as when we first dated.

Praise God for 10 wonderful years together... and looking forward for so many more...
