This is a year of ACCELERATION!!!
This has indeed been a year of acceleration.
From Derrick's change of job, to promotions and increments, all His blessings are pouring in so fast and furiously that we hardly had time to realise.
God had led Derrick to leave his previous company to bless him... in terms of remuneration as well as opportunities for promotion. Derrick had wanted to be promoted to a Management position where he would be leading a team by the time he turns 35. And indeed, after 2 rapid promotions, he's now leading the sales team at the age of 32. That's 3 years ahead of his goal.
When he switched jobs, his salary was increased 30 fold. Half a year with the new company later, he was given another increment, that was a 60 fold increase from the old company. And just yesterday, he was given another increment that made his salary now, a 100 fold increase from what he was getting just slightly more than a year ago. God is faithful! You can really see the way He blesses those whom He loves!
That however does not mean that everything would be a bed of roses... don't forget, satan does try all the time to distract you from the truth. But he is not a creator... he is not creative and can only do the opposite of what God does. So things in his office got a little stormy... with lots of politics and drastic changes that could really affect him. Although he is still much wanted in the company, he decided that this is no longer the place to stay. The day he made this decision, God sent a head hunter to him and his ex-boss also recommended him to another company and within a week, he's gone for 2 interviews. Each of these positions were things that he could and would want to do. God's timing is really good and He is a very practical God. His blessings are not just 'spiritual' things that you could not see, you could not feel and you could not use on this earth. His blessings are practical and real and timely. Guess what? All these attacks that satan is launching only means one thing... that he sees movement in the spiritual realm... more blessings are going to come our way! God is doing something amazing and satan is trying his best to discourage us so that we would miss it. But it is not going to be! For we are the righteousness of God in our Lord Jesus Christ and He has qualified us for every blessing and good thing that the Father had prepared for us. God is on our side and on His side is victory!
So I just want to encourage you that if things look stormy around you... know this... God's blessings are still on you. Satan would try doubly hard only because he is trying his darndest to prevent something good that is going to happen in your life. But he has absolutely no power to take anything from you unless you let go of it yourself.
So whatever it is... hold on to the truth! And the truth will set you free to enjoy the blessings of the Lord.
